98 SXS

We have recently redesigned our 98 SXS, the bread and butter of midsized Shredders, to have a slightly more hardy design and more efficient production. Because of the prevalence of 98" machines, however, we will still produce castings and 98 SXS Shredders on request. The 98" machine can process bales, car bodies, and car logs with minimal loss of tons per hour.

  • 3000 HP yields 70 - 90 TPH
  • 4000 HP yields 90 - 120 TPH
  • 5000 HP yields 100 - 150 TPH
  • 6000 HP yields 120 - 180 TPH

The Shredder Company has proudly provided 98 SXS machines to Metals Recycling Co.

100 SXS

The 100 SXS is the name given to the TSC's new version of the 98 SXS. Design improvements are various--from reinforcing the shredder walls to increasing the mouth of the machine--and result in a much tougher shredder, built with operators in mind. The 100 SXS can process bales, car bodies, and car logs with minimal loss of tons per hour.

  • 3000 HP - 80 - 100 TPH
  • 4000 HP - 90 - 130 TPH
  • 5000 HP - 110 - 160 TPH
  • 6000 HP - 130 - 190 TPH

The Shredder Company has developed 100 SXS shredders for Sims Metal Management Group of Australia and for the SCY corporation of Taiwan.
